We had the chance to visit the #1 rated restaurant in Managua, according to TripAdvisor. The experience was quite good, and here’s my take on it. The proprietor is an excellent host — as others have mentioned, he takes time to explain every dish in detail. Our waiter was also very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, offering thoughtful suggestions.
It was a very busy night, and the restaurant seemed understaffed, so the service fell short of expectations — we even had to pour our own wine. That’s not what one would expect from the top-rated restaurant in Managua. Prices are on the higher side, but the food quality was impressive. We tried the Filetes Silvia and Cruzando el Mar Rojo, both beautifully presented with creative flavors.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el restaurante número uno en Managua, según TripAdvisor. La experiencia fue bastante buena, y aquí está mi opinión. El propietario es un excelente anfitrión; como otros han dicho, se toma el tiempo para explicar cada plato con detalle. Nuestro camarero también conocía bien el menú y la carta de vinos, haciendo sugerencias acertadas.
Era una noche muy concurrida, y el restaurante parecía tener poco personal, por lo que el servicio no estuvo a la altura; incluso tuvimos que servirnos nuestro propio vino. No es lo que uno esperaría de un restaurante mejor valorado de Managua. Los precios son elevados, pero la calidad de la comida fue excelente. Probamos los Filetes Silvia y Cruzando el Mar Rojo, ambos muy bien presentados y con sabores creativos.
