According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the child mortality rate in Nicaragua has decreased by 67% since 1990, and the country has achieved significant progress in reducing malnutrition among children under five years of age. Additionally, access to education has improved, with nearly 90% of children enrolled in primary school.
