We ate at the famous Chico Tripa’s restaurant in Granada the other day. They have a wonderful way of preparing pork, chicken or beef as you can see in the pix. Fritanga in Nicaragua is one of the things you will miss the most when you are no longer here!!!!

People in Nicaragua consume a lot of pork…and lean is definitely not in. This hog seems ripe for making some fried hog meat, pork rinds and a lot of other good umm umm stuff.

It’s a very nice restaurant that specializes in grilled steak, pork, chicken and fish. Excellent from the start as you can see. The chicken served with two different types of plantains and rice cost C$170 ( US$8.50). The grilled pork ribs cost C$160 (US$8.00). The service and quality are excellent. We recommend it!!!
