This young girl lives in Mocorón, Nicaragua. She asked me in a very sociable fashion to take a picture of her. So, I did. It doesn’t matter if you are in the capital of Nicaragua (Managua) or this little town in the middle of nowhere, Chinandega, you will find that the Nicaraguan population is generally friendly, open and hospitable. Nicaraguan hospitality is one of the jems you will find if you have a chance to visit this Central American country. You won’t hear about searching for Nicaragua news. Most of the tourist places or tourist attractions have some degree of hospitality…however the real deal you will find away from the globalization the normally accompanies the most visited tourist attractions. Nicaragua has an authentic “realness” that is very much a part of the culture in this country…and found in one of its most important assets – its people.

No importa si estás en la capital de Nicaragua (Managua) o este pequeño pueblo en medio de la nada, Chinandega, vos encontrarás que la población de Nicaragua es generalmente amable, abierta y hospitalaria. La hospitalidad de Nicaragua es uno de las joyas que encontrarás si tenés la oportunidad de visitar este país centroamericano. No la encontrarás en las noticas de Nicaragua. La mayoría de los lugares turísticos o atracciones turísticas tienen cierto grado de hospitalidad… sin embargo, la hospitalidad real, la mero mero, la encontrarás lejos de la globalización que normalmente acompaña a las atracciones turísticas más visitadas. Nicaragua tiene una auténtica “realidad” que es, en gran medida, parte de la cultura de este país… y se encuentra en uno de sus activos más importantes: su gente.
