I found this lonely pineapple growing in El Chilamate, Nicaragua. This area between Masaya and Granada isn’t typically know for pineapples. However, in Nicaragua there are 7 different types of pineapple that are grown. One of the best examples is the white pineapple, naturally sweeter and less acidic than it’s Costa Rican counterpart (a yellow colored pineapple).

I went to the Burger King in front of the Galerías Santo Domingo mall in Managua, expecting a quick filler-up before heading off to Granada, Nicaragua. I was unpleasantly surprised. This conceptual Burger King store (restaurantes en Nicaragua) has a lot of good things going for it. For example, the modern interiors are appealing and the late-night hours are useful for Friday and Saturday. However, the food was deceptionally expensive for the small, measly portions. I mean I could hardly find the hamburger and taste it in the Whopper Jr. that I bought. You can check out the prices here: BK prices

Fui a la Burger King en frente del centro comercial Galerías Santo Domingo en Managua, esperando una recarga alimenticia antes de irme a Granada, Nicaragua. Lo que conseguí era una sorpresa desagradable (hay mejores opciones en restaurantes en Nicaragua) Esta tienda conceptual Burger King tiene algunas cosas buenas a su favor.
